Powerline Safety is Important: It's easy to forget just how careful we need to be around electricity and power
lines are especially important. Make sure children know not to climb trees or fly kites near powerlines, and never touch or go near a fallen powerline. Safety Tip: If a powerline falls on your car, stay inside the car and don't touch anything metallic.

 

Hurricane Season Begins June 1 : Experts predict a well above-average season with about eight hurricanes - four of which could be categorized as intense storms, meaning they are Category Three or higher. (more)
