District 1 - That part of Calhoun County served by the cooperative

Nichols was appointed to WFEC’s Board in March 1997. He is Chairman of the Board, serves on the Executive Committee as Chairperson and is a member of the Member Services Committee. He also represents WFEC on the Board of Directors for PowerSouth Energy Cooperative. Nichols is also PowerSouth’s Alternate Voting Delegate on the FECA Board. He is a Certified Cooperative Director through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).
