West Florida Electric Cooperative (WFEC) employees and trustees cordially invite all WFEC member-owners to join us for our 72nd Annual Meeting/Member Appreciation Day on Saturday, April 25, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until noon. This annual event will take place at the Graceville Civic Center located at 5224 Brown Street or Hwy. 77 in Graceville (across from the VF Factory Outlet Stores).

Entertainment will be provided by The Thompsons. Thompsons travel as two families using live instruments and carrying on their legacy with their own children.
The Thompsons are currently in the studio cutting a new album that will have anything from praise and worship songs you’d recognize to old hymns from the church hymnal. The Thompsons want their audiences to be touched by the message in the songs and see God work in their lives as ministers of the Gospel.2276002

WFEC President and Chief Executive Officer, Bill Rimes will report on WFEC's recent efforts and achievements, electric utility-related issues and other topics of interest during the meeting. Member-owners will have the opportunity to win prizes such as electric grills, small appliances, electronics and more.

WFEC will also award one lucky member-owner a portable generator. Only member-owners who return the registration cards from their election packets by April 15 will be eligible to win the generator. Every member who attends the meeting will receive a choice of complimentary gifts upon registration. 6708701

A representative from McDaniel & Associates, the certified public accounting firm that collects and tabulates WFEC's mail ballots, will announce the results of the District 9 trustee election at the end of the meeting. Complimentary barbeque sandwiches will be provided by Southern Country Barbeque and served for lunch. Drinks will also be provided throughout the day by cheerleaders from Holmes County High School.
