As a member-owner of WFEC, excess revenues are credited back to your member account annually. Each year of capital credits is retired after approximately 25 years. Once you have been a member of WFEC for 25 years, you will begin receiving these retirement credits in the form of a check in the spring of each year. The entire balance of capital credits are payable at the time of death to a member's heirs. To determine when you might be eligible to receive general retirement checks, contact WFEC.
