West Florida Electric Cooperative (WFEC) will have a planned power outage on Wednesday, January 6 beginning at 12:30 PM affecting the area south of Bonifay, Florida. This outage is expected to last approximately four hours and has been scheduled to upgrade lines and equipment in the immediate area. If all goes as expected, electricity should be restored by 4:30 PM. This outage will potentially affect all West Florida Electric customers south of Bonifay, Florida to Hinson’s Crossroads.

WFEC apologizes for any inconvenience this outage may cause, but it is necessary to enhance service and reliability to lines and equipment in the area.
